Hi all ive not posted in a while but ive sent out most fo the pics of europe.

ive been very busy at university so ive not had time to post any of the stories yet but i hope to soon.

OK so everyone wants to see the photos from me travelling. well for now here is one of the eifal tower. the rest will follow once i get time to put them on :)

i will also be writing about some of the funniest bits and sill stories which everyone wants to know about.

well im back in the uk now and only just. the last few days of the trip were just as good as the beginning we met some germans and had lots of drinks in bar figi in villamoura ( i think thats how you spell it) ended up doing flaming b-52's haha very funny. then the other days we either were next to the pool or by the beach. flew back last night then met simon in london thanks claire for the lift :) had a few beers in london then drove down today to sunny plymouth. great to back but wish i was still travelling.

after simon left as championship Shithead (card game) we headed off to madrid.

when we got to madrid the metro at the station was closed for a refurb so we walked to the centre which wasnt too far. we saw some nice fountains and the art de triumph so we have seen 3 of them so far. unfortunately for us madrdid was on a holiday so everything was shut. we had a few coffees and walked around a while till out train was in. thye night life in madrid is pretty good after anout 9pm everyone was out.

the night train to algeciras was awful! we were in a cabin with 6 seats we presumes that as the seats moved to make 3 beds we would have a bed each oh we were so wrong we had 6 in the cabin and lots of people were getting on and off during the night eventually at 4am i was able to actually layout on the so called bed but i dint get much sleep. ponce we were in algeciras we got the tickets for teh ferry to Morocco.

for some reason it was cheaper to get the bus to tarifa and then get the ferrry from there. hwne we got to tarifa we had a an hour to find somewhere to put pour bags but could we find anywhere! we looked in the port in 6 or so hostels and no where would take our bags it such a pain so when we got to morocco we had to carry our bags everywhere.

morocco was amazing such a good place i would love o go back there one day but beware you get hassled as soon as you put foot onto moroccan soil. we went to the markets in median which was really cool. just that we stood out so much everyoine was hassling you and asking you to buy stuff but so much fun as well.

we hopped back on the ferry in the evening and got a lift to the hoistel in tarifa whihc was a really nice and chilled place.

mect day we got back to tarifa centre and grabbed a bus to algeciras then trained it to seville.

seveille is a really nice place we just had paella. tomorrrow off to portugal!

calella and back to barcelona

We met up with simon and went to calella which is slightly up the coast. we managed to get a cheap hotel and the room was really good. we spent a few night drinking and playing cards it was nice to relax.

during the day there we went to the beach and played football in the mini goals they have there and lso went swimming lots. we swam out to a buoy which had a slide and a diving board to jump off, poor simon being short struggled to get on it as the ladder wasnt there. the beach was very nice although the sand was a killer for your feet. we ended up playing footy with our socks on so it didnt hurt so much.

The 7th was a wicked day but it had its ups and downs. it started off at midnight with the guys singing happy birthday to me and us all running into the sea in the pitch black. the water was so warm! we body surfed for a while hope you like the pics. once we left calella to get to barcelona to get a train to madrid. when we got there the only train we could get would leave late so we wold be stuck in barcelona for hours. it would also cost simon over 100 euros to get a return ticket so we decided to cancel the accomodation in madrid. we were luckily approached in the station by a guy working for a hostel who had some cheap beds going so we took that. we got a privte room with a bathroom & shower for only 16 euro each, which is pretty good.

we sorted our stuff out and went to get ome food. we ended up going to an all you can eat buffet. we ate soooo much. there was lots and lots of salad, pizza, spaghetti, coffee and ice cream. there was just so much we ended up being totally stuffed to the brim.

In the evening we watched the england match which was rubbish against northan ireland.then we went out and had a meal at a really cheap restaurant called fondas. i had veal which was relly nice but not as nice as lukes lamb.

we then went out to a club where we drank lots. i got a vodka and coke, i thought they werent going to stop pouring the vodk in! they put in so much but it was nice hehe. the club was pretty cheesy but we had lots of fun as you will see in the pictures.

Barcelona!

Been in Barelona a few days now we have seen the Olympic stadium and the Olympic village which is an awesome sight. You will have to see the pictures.

We did the Fat tyre bike tour which again was excellent. It took us all around barcelona and there is certainly some interesting stuff about Bacrelona that i didnt have a clue about.

The other night we met some girls from australia and we all went for a curry which was pretty cheap. We also went to see the Magic Fountain as its called which was amazing. the funniest thing was the night before we went there to see it but we got the days mixed that it was on so we sat aorund waiting for nothing. still when we did see it, it was well worth the wait.

last night again we met up with some other girls from the UK and we went out and ate Paella which ie never had but it was quite nice i actually like the muscles. We had a huge glass of beer which must be a half litre glass at least.

so we have had some busy nights. we spent the day at the beach today on one of the artificial beaches. the water is absolutely gorgeous.

we are hopefully going to the neu camp tomorrow but its a bit complicated as we also have to meet up with a mate who is flying in to barcelona.

we have booked a hotel in Calella for 3 night for only 25 euros a night so fingers crossed it will be nice. after that we plan to go to Madrid.

nice was nice

ok so ive said it Nice was nice very nice! i was glad to get out of the hostel in rome it was awful my bed was positioned at the top of the room up some stairs with other beds but where i slept if i rolled off one side i would fall about 6 meters or so to the ground - glad i dont move around!

well the weather in nice was superb it was baking hot and we stayed at the beach all day. the water was gorgeous all different colours of blue.

oh and the ladies well they were stunning!!

the beach had some volleyball courts where we watched a few games it was very nice to chill out in the evening as they played. i even played footy on the side walk along the bach with some locals. they saw the ball and asked me to play it was great fun.

now were in Barcelona and its still very hot. we walked around to day like zombies as we got the overnight train. didnt sleep much so were pretty tired right now.

we have just cooked bolognase it was yummy.

oh and i did i say the girls in nice were gorgeous hehe i couldnt stop lookin they were everywhere!

second day in Roma

Last night we had our free meal which was past with sausage and tomatoes it was very nice. the guy kept on giing us more as he felt guilty baout moving us from the couch we were on to serve the food. i was still hungry of course hehe.

well today, again my feet are begging me to stop we have walked all the way to the Vatican and back to day. we ddint get to go insdie the chapel as it was free entry today. The Pope was there making a speech which was pretty cool. out side they played what he said through speakers it wa quite an experience.

the weather today isnt so good it rained for a bit so we took shelter under some trees and had lunch, so we managed to make the most of it.

next stop will be nice in the south of france so we can hopefully chill out at a beach. we leave early tomorrow morning though which im not looing forward to.

I have a confession toay, we just had a mcdonalds hehe it was relly really nice!

busy day in rome

im sooo tired today we have walked everywhere. we started off walking to the colloseum. we managed to get a guide really cheap as we are eu citizens. the guide was really good and explained lots about the building and the history surrounding the colloseum. after that we ventured to the pantheos which is where the not so voilent games were played near to the colloseum. it was pretty amazing there.

we saw the pantheon which was mind blowing the size of the room was huge. you will have to see the pics for that.

we also di the p.zza navona, fontana di trevi, foro romano and all the wayto the river which was one long walk.

tonight we plan to just relax as weer totally shattered.

well venice was amazing and we managed to see just about all of it even most of the dead ends hehe.

we had a great lastr night in venice at the camp site with some guys rfom the uk. we even had a 3 litre jug with a tap some good drinking.

after venice we went south and went to tuscany to a friends villa which had a really nice pool and a tennis court, so we were living the life of luxury for a few days - which was nice hehe

we did a day trip to pisa and saw the leaning tower. no we didnt do the obvious pic we just had a normal pic of the tower as everyone was doing the holding the pisa shot.

today we spent te day in florence and we saw the statue of david which is pretty amazing def worth seeing.

florence is a really nice place, i thin i could stay there for a few days if we had the time.

well here i am now in rome the first thing was we couldnt find the hostel but out of no where a guy on a scooter came over and helped us it was really odd gbut what a guy! we found the hostel but e kinda wish we hadnt as it pants. the place is awful as there is no where to put your stuff but hey we have 3 days here so were going to make the most of it.

In salzburg we went to see the ice caves and they were out of this world. After a coach ride, 20 min walk and a cable car ride we were up in the aplas then we walked 1K intside the alps to see the ice sculptures. it was freeezing in there but well worth it. the way the ice flowed was really smooth and unusual.

now in Venice

From my last post ive been in Bled in Slovenia. What a great place most definitely the best place so far for meeting others. Bled is such a beautiful place. we swam in the lake a few times and ventured up to the Vintgar (gorge). Ive been white water raftng which was amazing. the scenary is sooooo good everywhere you go in Bled.

we have met so many good people in Bled at the hostel we spent one night with one of the guys playing the guitar having a few beers singing ad having a great great time.

The day we wnet to the gorge we had such a funny day although it dint start off so funny. The hostel is really good as they drop you off where you want to go and pick you up as the hostel is slightly out of town. Luke and i were droppped of in bled and we waited for the others so we could all go to the gorge together. unlucky fgor us the others were dropped the other side of town. we made the most of it and walked up there and fortunately we met them anyway.

the rest of the afternoon we swam in the lake.

White water rafting was really good although it was the beginner one as they dint do any other ones there it was still fun. we went body surfing down the river whihc was freezing.

So now im in venice after the worst day so far we spent the whole of yesterday waiting for trains.

the first train wasnt running as it was a sunday but the time tables didnt say that so we waited 2 hours for that one then the next train from ljbyana was another 2 hour wait but that was delayed and we ended up waiting 5 hours for it. We didnt get into Venice until midnight.

Venice is mazing though the streets are so small and unusual. its like a maze everywhere you go. thye amount of times e have gone the wrong way and hit a dead end haha.

just about awake at teh moment so bare with me. we got into salzberg at 5.30 this morning and have been walking around till now. the scenary here is amazing there are lots of huge buidlings , castles and mountains.

we already eaten a nice breakfast in a bakery. you wot believe how many bakeries there are here. every street has them that and banks.

yesterday in geneva we got some free bikes and went up into the swiss valleys. im a little sun burnt as the weather high up was amazing. i have some great pics of geneva ill posting them up soon.

next stop will be slovenia after we see teh ice caves here in austria.

paris - geneva

wow what a start to the trip we arrived in paris and everyone was so much help. we very quickly had to start speaking french to find our hostel but the people here are very nice and once we try speaking french they help us out a bit.

had a grat time in paris the eifal tower was amazing the views were great.

we did the fat tyre tour that was really good we met lots of other travellers and drank lots wine whihc was free - even better hehe

we then went to basel and only just managed to get a hostel as the train was delayed for 3 hours luckily for us a nice guy called christoff waited for us and we managed to check in.

the worst thing was on thze trian when they made the anounbcement was that we couldnt quite understand what was going on so i had to ask when the driver came by. everyone was listenig so embarrassing but had to be done.

ok so now were in geneva for 2 days. we hope to go to lake geneva.
